There’s a lot of stuff to stream nowadays. In hopes of helping you watch more good movies and TV, we compile some of the most exciting titles streaming across all platforms in our weekly column, What To Watch.
The Gentlemen (Netflix)
Netflix’s well-received action series is back for a second season. “The Gentlemen” follows Eddie (Theo James), a guy who unexpectedly becomes a Duke, inheriting an illegal drug empire that’s booming on the estate. If you need more encouragement, the show might include a Meghan Markle cameo in the future?
The Mandalorian and Grogu (Disney+)
Pedro Pascal is back with the adorable Grogu. “The Mandalorian and Grogu” takes the beloved duo to the big screen and is now streaming on Disney+.
Chad Powers (Hulu)
“Chad Powers” is back for a second season, following Glen Powell as a football prodigy who ruins his career when making a public dumb mistake. He decides to give his dream another shot by returning to the field in a wig and some prosthetics, taking on the mantle of Chad Powers.
Earle Meets World (Netflix)
Alix Earle and her family are the stars of Netflix’s latest reality TV show “Earle Meets World,” showing a closer look at the life of the very famous influencer.
Mayday (Apple TV)
Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh star in “Mayday,” a comedy set in the Cold War following an American soldier on a secret mission who crashes in the Soviet Union, forming an unlikely bond with an ex-KGB agent.
MCU Spider-Man (Disney+)
It’s the summer of Spider-Man. Two of the Tom Holland entries are newly available to stream on Disney+: “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” which follows Peter’s adventure abroad, and “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” which introduces the alternate versions of Spider-Man.
Smile 2 (Netflix)
Lastly, if you want a great scare this long weekend, “Smile 2” is now streaming on Netflix. The terrifying and incredibly fun movie follows Skye (Naomi Scott), a pop singer tormented by a malignant entity that takes the form of whoever’s nearest, tormenting her with an awful smile.
