Salma Hayek is celebrating her 59th birthday! The Mexican actress, born in Coatzacoalcos, became a Hollywood fixture when she was 29 years old. The movie was “From Dusk Till Dawn,” and the role featured her as a vampire dancing in a bikini with a snake draped over her shoulders. The image understandably became one of the most emblematic moments in ’90s cinema. Almost 30 years later, Hayek is now one of the biggest figures in the entertainment industry, a style icon, and a representative of beauty at any age.

Hayek made her Oscars debut in 1997, looking stunning in a sequin dress paired with her hair styled in a high bun and blue eye shadow.

In 2002, Hayek attended the premiere of the Arnold Schwarzenegger film “Collateral Damage,” boasting a look emblematic of the early aughts, made up of a white suit and an off-white hat. Her hair was longer than before, with it styled in layers, showcasing its rich black hue.

Hayek attended the 2006 Oscars wearing a turquoise gown that she paired with her hair curled and a makeup palette that brought attention to her stunning eyes.

In 2007, while pregnant with her daughter, Valentina Paloma, Hayek showed off a radical new hairstyle. At the 2007 presentation for that year’s Oscar nominees, Hayek showed off some bangs, resulting in a youthful and bold look.
