We’ve got a taste of the glamorous life! And it’s all thanks to Addison Rae, who performed her first full Coachella set at the 2026 edition of the Californian music festival.
The TikTok sensation turned Grammy-nominated pop star, 25, was one of the marquee performers on the main stage for day two of the Coachella Valley festival on April 11, priming the audience for Bieberchella soon after.
While she actually made her Coachella debut last year, performing with Arca, her latest show was her first time with a full set, and she brought out the tricks and the dance background in spades!
Addison’s performance kicked off in a white dress with a tulle tutu, paired with a giant boa of dollar bills. The red tassels on her dress came off, revealing a red leather bikini set underneath, complete with its own tulle peplum and suspenders.
Joining her onstage, as she broke out hits like Charli XCX’s “Von Dutch” remix, “Fame is a Gun,” “Aquamarine,” and her signature breakout song “Diet Pepsi,” she was joined by Dance Moms alum Maddie Ziegler for more coordinated dance breaks.
Backstage photos post-show featured the pair posing for snaps, with a slight touch-up to Addison’s appearance including the word “FAME” written (seemingly in lipstick) across her chest.
The word has taken on a whole new meaning for the pop star with this era, not only a reference to her song “Fame is a Gun” of her acclaimed debut record, but also the start of her brand new era and tour, The Fame and Glory Show.
On Instagram, Addison explained prior to her Coachella appearance that she was rebranding her current slate of shows from The Addison Tour Show to The Fame and Glory Show, a “2.0” of sorts.
“Been rehearsing. See you next weekend!” she captioned some photos shared on her page earlier this month. “Oh and this show is not really #TheAddisonTourShow anymore….. it’s #TheFameAndGloryShow. Sort of a 2.0. Starts at Coachella and finishes in Poland. Sooooooooo yea. You don’t want to miss it!!!!!”
Between Addison, Sabrina Carpenter and Justin Bieber, the festival is already off to a strong start, and while opinions online are already starting to vary, the reviews for the “Obsessed” singer’s performances are looking good.
“Addison Rae is fully a pop star now. She just gets it. Works the crowd so well too. You can tell she’s hungry for superstardom and has studied the greats. Vocals could use a little work, but she’s here to stay. Great Coachella set,” one fan tweeted, with another also adding: “Addison Rae’s rebranding is insane, from tiktoker to a pop star in less than two years.”
The singer recently told Elle what excites her most about this festival season. “This year feels especially full of surprises. I get to travel to so many places I have never seen before and interact with fans from all over the world!” she said.
“There’s something so freeing about stepping onto big stages to share music you’ve worked so hard on and looking out to see people making memories to it. It feels like everything is flowing in a way that is really aligned for me.”
