Al Pacino, 86, poses with his son’s mother, 32, for a rare ‘parents night out’

Al Pacino posed alongside Noor Alfallah for a smiling photograph shared on Instagram, with the producer celebrating their bond as parents to son Roman.

The 86-year-old actor stood beside Noor, 32, in the image, which she captioned: “Roman’s Mom & Dad,” adding a red heart. She tagged the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art as the location.

Al wore a black shirt beneath a matching jacket, with a dark scarf patterned with pale curved motifs draped around his neck. Brown-tinted glasses, a grey knitted beanie and a gold pendant completed his look.

Noor coordinated in a fitted black waistcoat with a plunging neckline and matching trousers. Her long dark hair fell over one shoulder, while a delicate necklace and a gold watch added understated finishing touches.

She leaned towards Al with a hand resting on his shoulder as they posed together, with other guests visible in the background. The post prompted affectionate responses from friends and family. “Parents night out,” Sophia Alfallah commented, while Vas J Morgan wrote: “My mum and dad too.” Another follower added: “Love this photo.”

Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah’s relationship

Although Al and Noor were previously romantically involved, the actor clarified their relationship in an October 2024 interview with People. Asked whether he was in a relationship, he replied: “No. I have friendship.” His representative confirmed that they remained close friends and co-parents.

Noor subsequently spoke warmly about Al in an October 2025 exchange with TMZ, saying they spent time together daily. She did not directly confirm a romantic reconciliation when asked, according to the New York Post’s account of the conversation. 

“Who doesn’t want to be together with him? He’s the coolest guy,” she told TMZ. Her latest Instagram caption focused on their shared role as Roman’s parents, without defining their current romantic status.

How Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah grew close

Noor previously described how their friendship developed through a shared interest in cinema.

Speaking to Vogue Arabia in March 2024, she recalled spending time at Al’s home during the pandemic, watching films and playing chess. Their homes were close to one another, making it easy to see each other regularly.

“It was like film school with Al Pacino,” she said, in comments reported by Entertainment Tonight.

The producer explained that Al introduced her to films from his career, including Scarface and Bobby Deerfield. The latter, in which he starred opposite Marthe Keller, became a particular favourite.

Their friendship gradually developed into a relationship, and they welcomed Roman in June 2023, when Al was 83.

What Noor Alfallah said about motherhood

In the same Vogue Arabia interview, Noor explained how becoming a mother had changed the way she organised her days.

She described using Roman’s naps to read scripts, watch television or have time to herself, while wanting to give him her attention when he was awake. “When he’s awake, I want to be there; I want to be present,” she said.

Al Pacino’s four children

Roman, now three, is the youngest of Al’s four children. The actor welcomed his eldest daughter, Julie Marie, in October 1989 with acting coach Jan Tarrant. Julie, 36, pursued a career in filmmaking.

Al also shares twins Anton James and Olivia Rose, 25, with actress Beverly D’Angelo. They were born in January 2001. Anton has largely kept out of the public eye, while Olivia has shared glimpses of family life on social media. 

Earlier this year, Al joined all three of his adult children at the Los Angeles premiere of Julie’s film I Live Here Now. The family posed together at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica in March, marking a public show of support for her feature directorial debut. 

Al Pacino’s past relationships

Al’s previous partners have included his Godfather co-star Diane Keaton, actress Kathleen Quinlan and Beverly. He also had a relationship with actress Lucila Solá, whose daughter, Camila Morrone, has referred to him as her stepfather. He never married. Discussing marriage with People in 2024, he explained: “I just didn’t feel it ever suited me for some reason.” 

Beverly, meanwhile, has spoken about the lasting connection they developed after their split in 2003. In a 2024 Instagram reflection, she described how raising their twins together allowed their relationship to evolve.

“It’s def a unique relationship, encompassing a wide breadth/depth of experiences and emotions, through thick and thin, a true friendship,” she wrote, as reported by People.

What Al Pacino said about fatherhood

Long before Roman’s arrival, Al spoke about how becoming a parent had shifted his priorities.

In a 2015 interview with The Guardian, he reflected on the difference between his earlier devotion to acting and his life after having children. “Acting used to be everything; now, because of them, it’s just a small part,” he said, in comments reproduced by Nicki Swift.

Discussing Roman with the BBC in 2024, he said: “I want to be around for this child. And I hope I am.”
