Alessandra Ambrosio’s daughter, Anja, is following in her mother’s fashionable footsteps, as the duo recently appeared together in a campaign for the shoe brand Vizzano. The Victoria’s Secret model took to Instagram on March 26 to unveil the promotional images.
The campaign captured Alessandra in a simple black bandeau dress, embracing her daughter with her arms wrapped around her. Her toasted almond–hued locks fell in soft waves as she struck a fierce pose for the camera. Meanwhile, Anja stood beside her in a ruched black dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline. Her darker, raven locks were worn loose, and she kept her makeup minimal with a radiant finish.
In the caption, Alessandra penned: “Between light, beauty and connection… this day had a different energy. A workday that turned into a lifetime moment. Launching another campaign for @vizzano is already special, but this time it had a unique glow: to share it all with my daughter, Anja. Seeing her living it so naturally, so confident and radiant, was like watching a new chapter begin. Ours, together. Memories that last a lifetime.”
The model welcomed her daughter with her ex-fiancé Jamie Mazur in 2008. The former couple were engaged for 10 years and also share a son, Noah, who was born in 2012. They separated in 2018.
This isn’t the first time the mother-and-daughter duo have collaborated together on a project. In 2017, Alessandra and Anja were revealed to be the new faces of Jordache women’s and girls’ collections, and the model gushed that she enjoyed working with her “best friend.”
“(Anja) has so much energy and is silly and makes everyone laugh,” said Alessandra. “I don’t know if I would even consider it work as we really got to goof around and play on the set. I really enjoyed standing on the side and watching her do her own thing as well. I think the final images really show the bond we have as well as how much fun we have spending time with each other.”
