Amber Heard welcomes twins Agnes and Ocean on Mother’s Day

This weekend, Amber Heard just dropped a life-changing update on her followers: she welcomed twins, Agnes and Ocean. Lining up the news with Mother’s Day in the U.S., the 39-year-old actress and model revealed that her heart, and her household, are officially full.

“Mother’s Day 2025 will be one I’ll never forget,” she wrote in an emotional post on social media.

The Aquaman actress opened up to her followers with a caption alongside the first photo of her babies, a sweet shot of their tiny feet next to big sister Oonagh’s. “This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years. Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang. My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full.”

“When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever. I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy. Well, now I am bursting times three!!! Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life,” she added, noting, “I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.”

After opening up about the road that led her back to motherhood, Heard sent a shout-out to moms everywhere. “To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you. Love always!”

With this joyful announcement, Johnny Depp’s former wife not only shares her excitement but also shines a light on non-traditional paths to parenthood. Heard, who’s kept a low profile in recent years, has been loving life in Madrid, where she moved nearly two years ago.

She first settled in Mallorca, then relocated to the Spanish capital, where she’s often spotted tackling everyday errands like any local. Back in December, her publicist confirmed she was expecting again and “couldn’t be happier.” Now, at last, the twins are in her arms, and a brand-new and exciting chapter begins.
