Amy Schumer is stepping into swimsuit season with confidence. The 44-year-old comedian and actress is embracing her body in a way that feels refreshingly real, and her latest post proves she is fully in her glow-up era.
On Tuesday, March 31, Amy Schumer shared a bold and playful mirror selfie to her Instagram Stories. The image shows her posing in a red one-piece swimsuit featuring a plunging neckline, paired with sunglasses and her hair styled in a casual bun.
She kept the tone light and on-brand with her signature humor, captioning the photo: “Thirsty enough for ya?” It also marked another moment in her ongoing journey of owning her body unapologetically.
Inside Her 50-Pound Weight Loss Transformation
Schumer’s latest look comes after a noticeable 50-pound weight loss, a transformation she has been open about without glamorizing or overselling it. Rather than presenting it as a perfection narrative, she continues to frame it through a lens of health and personal growth.
Earlier this year, on Sunday, Jan. 4, Schumer shared a series of candid, makeup-free photos on Instagram that gave fans an unfiltered look at her life. The images, taken before and during a getaway, included her modeling bikinis and swimwear from Eres Paris, along with dresses from The Row.
She explained the story behind the photos in a caption that felt personal and grounded: “My mom took these photos of me while I was packing for a trip. And the last photo I’m on the trip. This year is about self-care and self-love.”
She encouraged her audience to focus on what truly matters, writing: “Let’s all appreciate our health, our families, our friends, and have the best year of our lives.” She continued with a forward-looking perspective: “Moving forward with no regrets. Just love.”
In 2025, Amy spoke about her experience using Mounjaro after previously struggling with Wegovy. She explained on Instagram that she had a “really good experience” with Mounjaro after discovering she was perimenopausal. “Three years ago, I tried Wegovy. I was puking, I couldn’t handle it,” Amy shared. “I went on this telehealth meeting with Midi Health, and it was cheap. I wanted to try it myself because I wanted to recommend it to my friends who are nurses and teachers.”
Amy said she started using estrogen and progesterone, which helped alleviate her perimenopausal symptoms. She also noted improvements in her energy levels, hair, skin, and sex life. The comedian has remained open with fans about her use of weight loss medication.
