It’s Friday, which means it’s time for our roundup of new music dropped this week. Get your playlist ready and kick off your weekend with some hip-shaking, head-swaying, moody, and fun releases.

Ángela Aguilar – El Equivocado

Ángela Aguilar releases her latest track, “El Equivocado,” seemingly dedicated to her husband, Christian Nodal, and a response to their haters.  The arrangement is beautiful, with stunning strings and instrumentals, and comes with a music video directed by the singer. Her upcoming album Nadie Se Va Cómo Llegó blends Mariachi with cumbia, tumbado, pop, and more while staying true to her Mexican roots and mariachi core.

Marco Mares, Sabino – digo que no, pero si

Latin GRAMMY-nominated Marco Mares’ next studio album ¿por qué corres? ya estamos ahí, is out, May 7. The singer-songwriter and guitarist is a breath of fresh air in the Latin music scene as he blends genres easily, always offering a feel-good sound and catchy lyrics. His latest single, “digo que no, pero si” blends merengue and reggae with the artist telling HOLA! “It was written with one of my closest friends in music, Alberto Arcas, lead singer of Okills, straight from Venezuela, on a sunny afternoon at home. From its birth, this song was meant to be a party. And when we invited the #1 representative of Sab-Hop, Sabino—one of the most respected and important artists in Latin America today—it grew even more, it exploded.”

Tropa Magica – Gengar

Los Angeles psychedelic cumbia rock band Tropa Magica, led by brothers David Pacheco and Rene Pacheco, along with Christian Vazquez and Eddie Rivas, drop their fourth EP, Para Bailar Y Tripiar. The album is a genre-blending master piece that will take you on a groovy and experimental ride with fun bangers like “Gengar.”

Fuerza Regida – TU SANCHO

Fuerza Regida’s new album 111XPANTIA is out now. The group from San Bernardino has been unstoppable in the world of regional music, and their new EP comes just as a year after their incredible PERO NO TE ENAMORES. Their sound continues to expand with tracks like “TU SANCHO,” that has an experimental vibe to it.

Ivan Cornejo – Me Prometí

After incredible sets at Coachella, Ivan Cornejo continues to pump out new music with “Me Prometí.” Marking a shift from his heartbreak-driven sound, the track blends airy synths with stripped-down acoustic melodies that have a nostalgic rock feel. The singer also announced Mexico and LATAM dates for his 2025 Mirada tour.

Gloria Estefan – La Vecina (No Sé Na’)

Latin legend Gloria Estefan is making 2025 her year with new music! “La Vecina (No Se Na’)” is the second single from her upcoming album, her first in 18 years. This salsa track pays homage to the Latin community and shines a light on that one neighbor who knows everyone’s business.

Grupo Frontera, Neton Vega – La Buena Eras Tú

Grupo Frontera and Neton Vega join forces on their new hit, “La Buena Eras Tú.” The song seamlessly fuses the signature norteño style of Grupo Frontera with a smooth rap rhythm, a Spanish guitar melody, and elements of cumbia undertones. It comes with an official music video set in Monterrey, Mexico.

Julio Caesar – rascacielos

At 20, Julio Caesar is among those redefining Regional Mexicano with his new album Entero. Born in Pomona, raised with roots in Culiacán, he fuses tradition with a modern edge and is known for his skilled bajo quinto playing, as heard on one of the tracks, “Rascacielos.” Caesar is currently opening over half the dates on Iván Cornejo’s MIRADA TOUR Part 2.

Kevin AMF, Axel Rulay – S+S

Kevin AMF and Axel Rulay will have you ready to dance with “S+S.”  The self-proclaimed ‘King of Dembow’ fuses the essence of traditional dembow with infectious percussion rhythms.
