Angela White speaks on reconciliation rumors

Hollywood loves a comeback story. It loves a messy plot twist even more. And this week, Blac Chyna, now known by her birth name Angela White, delivered both in one swoop when she confirmed she and Rob Kardashian are officially done again.

After months of eyebrow-raising reconciliation chatter, cryptic captions, and cozy public sightings, Angela made it crystal clear on Tuesday that their romantic reboot is over. Her Instagram Story said it all with a wink and a mic drop: “Guess whose ending the year single,” followed by a knowing caption, “You knew it, You and I.”

The message landed like a glitter bomb in the middle of Kardashian fan land. Her comments section lit up with: “I knew that wasn’t going to work. You and the family had too much bad blood! You sued them and now you want to break bread? No that was never going to work!” and “Man listen, live your life until that individual completes you. No rush. It’s quite alright. He is preparing that special someone for you as we speak. 💯🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ You already know I (we) LOVE 🫵🏾.”

Just weeks ago, the energy was very different.

When the Love Story Looked Like It Was Rebooting

Back in October, Angela appeared at the Los Angeles Women’s Expo as a keynote speaker, and things got unexpectedly romantic. In footage later obtained by TMZ, the moderator went straight for the million-dollar question: was she getting back together with Rob?

Angela didn’t shut it down. In fact, she leaned into it. “We’re healing and we’re communicating and we’re just going with the flow,” she said. “And if God be, then it will be something.”

The moderator even pointed out how the two had been spotted together at Universal Studios, laughing, locked in their own little bubble. Angela agreed, calling Rob “actually hilarious,” which is about as Kardashian romantic as it gets.

When the moderator teased that they seemed to be “on the path” to reuniting, Angela playfully owned it. She made a heart with her hands and said, “You guys heard it first. We’re on the path. We’re on the journey.” Then came the line that set social media buzzing. “He’s my person.”

She even said she wanted more kids, and not just with anyone. When asked who she would want to expand her family with, she answered without hesitation: Rob. She painted a picture of “two little cute little chunky babies,” which is adorable and chaotic in exactly the way fans expect.

So what happened?

The Post That Sparked Everything and the Post That Ended It

A few days ago, Angela had reignited the rumor mill with a now-famous Instagram post. She posed next to a white Ferrari in an all white outfit and captioned it, “This love is forever,” while tagging Rob. To make things extra spicy, Rob liked the post.

That single like might as well have been a public engagement ring in Kardashian internet logic. Fans flooded the comments with heart eyes and hope. Others were more cautious, remembering how intense and painful their history had been.

Now, Angela’s new Story seems to close the book on that hopeful chapter. 

A History That Reads Like a Reality Show Script

Angela White and Rob Kardashian first got together in 2016. Their romance was fast, flashy, and deeply chaotic. Their daughter Dream Kardashian was born in November of that year, which should have been a fairy tale moment.

Instead, things unraveled quickly. By December 2016, Rob announced they had split. Days later, they were back together. By February 2017, they were done again, seemingly for good.

Then came the darkest chapter.

In July 2017, Rob posted explicit photos of Angela online in what became one of the most infamous revenge porn scandals in celebrity history. He was never prosecuted, but Angela secured a restraining order and later sued him. They eventually settled in 2022.

That same year, Angela took the entire Kardashian empire to court, suing Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner for one hundred million dollars. She alleged they sabotaged her and Rob’s planned reality show by spreading false claims that she abused him.

During the trial, Rob delivered emotional testimony. He claimed Angela once pointed a gun at his head, strangled him with a phone cord, and beat him with a metal rod while under the influence. Angela denied the violent allegations. She admitted holding a gun but said it was unloaded and playful. She admitted putting a cord around his neck but said it was not meant to harm him.

Even Corey Gamble, Kris Jenner’s longtime partner, testified that he saw Angela hitting Rob when he rushed to the house. Angela ultimately lost the lawsuit.

From Courtroom to Co-Parenting

Despite everything, the two have managed something surprisingly grown-up. They co-parent their daughter, Dream.

Earlier this year, on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Angela revealed that she and Rob were back on speaking terms. She said she also talks to Kim, Khloé, and Kris, though not everyone in the family.

Rob Kardashian remains private and mostly off social media, showing up when he chooses.

They may not be lovers. But they will always be Dream’s parents.
