Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may have nothing left to fight over if their $164 million French winery goes up in flames.
The former couple has been locked in a tense, never-ending battle over Château Miraval ever since Angelina sold her stake in the winery in 2021.
Now, the estate, located in the village of Correns near the Provence region, is being threatened by the raging wildfires sweeping southern France.
Aerial photos of the property obtained by TMZ on Friday show thick plumes of smoke filling the sky near the estate and its surrounding vineyards, although Château Miraval appears undamaged.
According to the outlet, firefighters are using helicopters and trucks to extinguish the flames with water from a private lake on the sprawling property.
Brad and Angelina bought Château Miraval for $28.4 million in 2008, and it is where he proposed to his Mr & Mrs Smith co-star in 2012, and where they hosted their secret wedding in August 2014.
However, after their 2016 split, Brad filed a lawsuit against Angelina seeking $35 million in damages, claiming that she sold her stake in their property without consulting him.
Their legal battle over the estate is ongoing, despite the former couple finalizing their divorce settlement in December 2024.
The threat to the property comes after George and Amal Clooney were forced to evacuate their nearby home over the wildfires, which continue to spread across the country.

It was revealed on Wednesday that George, 65, had written to Didier Bremond, the mayor of Brignoles, expressing his wish for the village to remain unharmed.
“Dear Didier, at this point we have no idea whether our beautiful home makes it through this terrible moment,” he wrote.

George concluded: “We love Brignoles and our friends who live there.”

Upon visiting a firefighting coordination center in the South of France, French President Emmanuel Macron urged emergency workers to “hold on” as they continued to battle the historic blaze.
“I know that some have lost everything. We will win this battle against this fire together,” he said.

Macron added that while the country would “replant and rebuild” after the disaster had ceased, “the structural challenges of climate change will no longer be the same.”
