Anjelica Huston enjoyed a family reunion of sorts at a rare public appearance earlier this week.
The Oscar-winning actress, 74, attended W Magazine and Dior’s intimate dinner party on March 12 to celebrate the 98th Academy Awards, which take place the night of March 15.
Her last public appearance was back in June of 2025, at the world premiere of Ballerina in Los Angeles, which is currently her latest film credit. She has two other projects in production at the moment, titled The Christmas Witch Trial of La Befana and Legacy.
Anjelica went for a chic take on her signature dark style, opting for a black suit with a white button down, several pearl necklaces, her jet black locks styled sleek and straight, a bold red lip, and off-white pointed toe heels.
Others in attendance included Jon Hamm with his wife Anna Osceola, Lisa Eisner, Lisa Love, and one Lorraine Nicholson, aka the daughter of Anjelica’s once boyfriend Jack Nicholson.
In 1973, Anjelica and Jack, now 88, met at his 36th birthday party and began an on-and-off relationship that would last for nearly two decades. While they dated other people intermittently in between, they were considered a Hollywood power couple for a majority of the ’80s.
However, they finally called it quits on their romance in 1990, when it was reported that Jack had welcomed a child with actress Rebecca Broussard. Sure enough, that year, Rebacca welcomed their daughter Lorraine. Anjelica and Jack broke things off, with the latter staying with Rebecca until 1994, welcoming their son Ray in 1992.
Also in 1992, Anjelica married sculptor Robert Graham after nearly two years of dating, with the pair then living together in California until his death in 2008.
© Getty ImagesWhile things ended on seemingly bad terms between Anjelica and Jack in the ’90s, they’ve since reconnected and established a friendship, and Lorraine, now 35, shared several sweet snippets from the party with Anjelica.
“FAMIGLIA,” she captioned some photos from the event, including one of her sitting next to Anjelica, with their placecards beside each other for the dinner.
While the As Good As It Gets star has stepped away from the spotlight in recent years, earlier in 2025, the Prizzi’s Honor actress revealed that her ex had reached out to her during a particularly distressing time – the Los Angeles wildfires that January.
She recalled that she, her housekeeper and pets were escaping the wildfires at that time when Jack called. “The phone just rang out of nowhere, and it was him,” she told People. “It’s always a comfort when he calls.”
© Getty ImagesAnjelica revealed that he’d called to check in and even offered her a place to stay. “It was heartbreakingly sweet. I’ve gone back over it several times in my head, and I think next time I’d accept the invitation.”
She spoke fondly of their years-long friendship, although noted that she isn’t able to visit him and his family as often as she’d like. “Life gets in the way. Also, for some reason, they’ve been doing endless rerouting and road work near his house, so it takes hours to get to him, and that’s always irritating. I always managed to be late going to see him, which is very irritating for him.”
