Former tennis star Anna Kournikova just shared a rare and intimate glimpse into her family life, and the detail that caught everyone’s attention is undeniably heart-melting. More than three months after welcoming her fourth child with longtime partner Enrique Iglesias, she has finally revealed their baby boy’s name in the most effortless way.
On March 19, Kournikova posted a photo on Instagram featuring all four of their children together. The image showed their newborn nestled in the arms of his older siblings, capturing a calm, affectionate family moment. While the visual itself was touching, it was the caption that delivered the real surprise.
She wrote simply: “Lucy+Nicolas+Mary+Romeo.” With that understated line, she confirmed that their youngest son’s name is Romeo.
A Subtle Reveal Months in the Making
Baby Romeo was born on Dec. 17, 2025, just days before the holiday season. At the time, Kournikova and Iglesias chose to keep details minimal. Their initial birth announcement on Instagram featured a soft, personal tone, with Kournikova captioning the post, “My Sunshine,” alongside his birthdate.
Shortly after, she shared a group portrait of all four children, writing, “My Sunshines.” Even then, the couple kept the baby’s name private, staying true to their long-standing preference for low-key family updates despite their global fame.
Growing Their Family, One Chapter at a Time
Kournikova and Iglesias have built a close-knit family over the years. They first became parents in 2017 when they welcomed twins Lucy and Nicholas, now 8. Their second daughter, Mary, arrived on Jan. 30, 2020, and is now 6.
The addition of Romeo makes them a family of six, something that insiders say has only deepened their happiness. A source previously shared insight into their family dynamic, saying, “Anna and Enrique are very happy to become parents again. They have proven to be great parents to their three children, and both of them love the process. They enjoy the activities and all that goes along with raising children.”
Another insider described Romeo as “the best Christmas present ever,” adding that the couple is “floating on air.”
Family Life Comes First
Despite their fame, Kournikova and Iglesias are known for keeping their personal life largely private. When they do share moments, they tend to focus on genuine family experiences rather than polished public appearances.
According to a source, “Anna and Enrique love family life and will spend the holidays with their family, which varies in size depending on who is around. It will be busy and chaotic as always, only a bit more so, but all with joy and love.”
A Love Story That Started on Set
The couple’s journey began in 2001 when they met while filming Iglesias’ “Escape” music video. What started as a professional collaboration quickly turned into a lasting partnership.
Reflecting on that moment years later, Iglesias said, “[The video changed my life] in ways that I didn’t even think about.” He added that their shared understanding of public life helped strengthen their bond: “When we met — although she came from the sports world — in a way, we kind of got each other. She knew what my world was like. I kind of knew what her world was like.”
He continued, “We just started connecting little by little and got stronger and stronger and stronger.”
