President Donald Trump was accompanied by family members as he attended the 2025 US Open men’s singles final. The president’s granddaughter Arabella Kushner and his son-in-law Jared Kushner joined him at the match between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner on Sunday in New York.
Arabella, the eldest of Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared’s kids, sat between her grandfather and father at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The 14 year old, who is following in her mother’s stylish footsteps, looked effortlessly chic at the match, dressed in a sleeveless mint green dress.
Days before defeating Jannik, Carlos was asked about playing tennis in front of the American president. “It is a privilege for the tournaments having the presidents from every country just to support a tournament, to support tennis and to support the match,” the Spanish tennis star said. “For me, playing in front of him, to be honest, I will try not to be focused and I will try not to think about it. I don’t want myself to be nervous because of it.”
Carlos added, “But I think, you know, attending the tennis match, I think It’s great for tennis to have the president into the final.”
The president was seen on camera standing and applauding after Carlos won his second US Open title. While Jared and Arabella were at the tennis match on Sept. 7, Ivanka and her two sons, Theodore Kushner and Joseph Kushner, were noticeably absent.

At the 2024 Republican National Convention, the president’s eldest grandchild, Kai described her grandfather as “just a normal grandpa.” She revealed, “He gives us candy and soda when our parents aren’t looking,” and shared that he “always wants to know how” his grandkids are “doing in school.” In her speech at the convention, Kai said, “Grandpa, you are such an inspiration and I love you. The media makes my grandpa seem like a different person, but I know him for who he is. He’s very caring and loving. He truly wants the best for this country and he will fight every single day to make America great again.”
