Barron Trump is back in the spotlight. Donald Trump’s youngest son attended the State of the Union address on Tuesday evening, supporting his dad and showcasing a new hairstyle.
Throughout his dad’s presidency, Barron, 19, has appeared on a few official occasions, opting for a slicked-back hair look. This week, he showed off a more natural approach to his hair, brushing it back with no product.
Barron attended the State of the Union address alongside his mother, Melania Trump, 55, and his siblings, Ivanka, 44, Eric, 42, Donald Jr., 48, and Tiffany, 32.
He sat next to Ivanka throughout the lengthy address, chatting with her. At one point, Trump introduced his wife, inspiring Ivanka to lead her siblings in standing for a round of applause.
Barron wore a black suit that he paired with a white button-up and a blue tie. Directly behind them sat the siblings’ significant others, including Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner, Eric’s wife, Lara Trump, Don Jr’s fiancée, Bettina Anderson, and Tiffany’s husband Michael Boulos.
In photos shared by his family, Barron was featured, smiling for the cameras and towering over his siblings.
Barron Trump’s growth in the White House
Barron Trump has grown up in the White House. He first lived there during Trump’s first presidency, when he was just 10 years old. Now, he’s living in the White House during a new stage in his life, while going to NYU’s campus in Washington, D.C.
Melania discussed his growth in an appearance on Fox News. “He’s an incredible young man; we are very proud of him,” she said.
“This time it’s very different because he’s 19 years old, and the first time he was 10 years old. He understands politics, he gives advice to his father, we talk about it, so very different,” she continued, elaborating on the fact that Barron helped his father acquire key votes during the recent election.
“He gave him all of the ideas of who he needs to talk to — all of these YouTubers and, you know, podcasts. So he was really a smart mind behind it,” she said.
