Beatrice Borromeo has expressed her thanks for Maria Grazia Chiuri. The day Maria announced that she would be stepping down as Dior’s creative director after nine years, Princess Caroline‘s daughter-in-law took to Instagram to pen a message to the designer.
“@mariagraziachiuri Thank you for the wonders you’ve created, for supporting artists and artisans, for infusing your works of books, film and culture, for the powerful messages you’ve spread in support of women – always,” Beatrice wrote. “Thank you for being with me through the most important moments of my life, from my wedding to my pregnancies to my projects launch. Thank you for the trips around the world and the many memories I will cherish forever. I’m honored to have been part of your Dior journey and I can’t wait to admire what you’ll do ❤️.”
Maria reacted to Beatrice’s post, commenting with a simple “❤️” emoji.
Beatrice was introduced as the “new Dior ambassador” in January of 2021. She has since attended various Dior shows and starred in a campaign for Dior’s Lady 95.22 bag. It was revealed on Monday, June 2, that Jonathan Anderson will be succeeding Maria. “Dior is thrilled to welcome Jonathan Anderson as Creative Director of women’s, men’s, and haute couture collections of the House.Jonathan Anderson will present his first collection, Dior Men Summer 2026, in Paris on June 27, 2025,” the fashion house wrote on Instagram.
Jonathan shared a personal statement over on his respective account, writing: “It is a great honor to join the House of Dior as Creative Director of both women’s andmen’s collections. I have always been inspired by the rich history of this House, its depth, and empathy. I look forward to working alongside its legendary Ateliers to craft the next chapter of this incredible story. I would liketo express my sincere thanks to Bernard Arnault and Delphine Arnault for their trust and loyalty over the years.”
Two days before Maria shared that she would be leaving the fashion house, Beatrice joined the designer at the Dior Cruise 2026 show in Rome. According to Journalist and ICON Magazine founder Inga Griese, Beatrice confirmed at the event on May 27 that she is expecting her third child. In an Instagram post, Inga wrote, “It was a true pleasure to meet again with the icon of beauty&brain Beatrice Casiraghi-Borromeo @astreafilms , who is happily pregnant with a girl after two sons.”
Beatrice is already a mother to sons Stefano and Francesco. The filmmaker and her husband Pierre Casiraghi, who was named an ambassador for Dior men’s wear in 2021, welcomed their first child, Stefano, in 2017 followed by their second, Francesco, in 2018. Prince Albert of Monaco’s niece and his wife have been married since 2015.
