Happy Friday! Summer is in full force, the vibes are immaculate, and now is the time to make sure your playlist has all the freshest hits. From A-list names to rising stars, check out the hottest drops this week from a variety of genres. 

TINI – De Papel 

TINI drops her latest dreamy single, “De Papel.” Touching on the complexity of love and the challenges that come with even the strongest relationship. It’s a relatable track with an electronic bass and catchy melody that builds up at the end for an exciting finish.  

Noriel, El Alfa – El Peine 

Puerto Rican trap star Noriel and Dembow legend El Alfa reunite for another danceable track: “El Peine.” The genre-blending track has a dembow sound with trap elements, perfect for the sweaty summer dance floors. It comes with a music video shot in Santo Domingo and directed by Flupfy Desingz.

Belinda, Snow Tha Product & Somos Frijoleros – Frijolero 

BELINDA and SNOW THA PRODUCT, come together for a fresh cover of “Frijolero,” by rock, punk, and hip hop genre blenders MOLOTOV.  The track is a political statement, and you can hear the passion in the womens voices as they sing the lyrics. 

Good Charlotte – I Don’t Work Here Anymore

The one and only Good Charlotte brings the nostalgia with their classic but elevated sound on “I Don’t Work Here Anymore.” The track is guaranteed to be someone’s anthem when they decide to finally take off their uniform and quit their job. 

Bassy x Omar Courtz x Derek Santana – FAYA

Omar Courtz, Bassy, and Derek Santana put their spin on the Ying Yang Twins‘ 2005 classic “Wait (The Whisper Song).” The familiar beat hooks you from the beginning and feels like an ode to some of the best days of hip hop. Producer Bassy nailed this bass-heavy, hypnotic fusion.  

mgk – outlaw overture

Machine Gun Kelly has officially dropped his album,  lost americana. “outlaw overture” comes with a music video featuring the artist as he reflects on how his life has changed over the years, but the things that have remained the same. It’s a catchy pop-rock track with sick electronic keyboard moments and a surprising sectional shift towards the end of the song that highlights his vocals. 

Kidd Voodoo – Destello…

Kidd Voodoo releases his 18-track album SATIROLOGÍA (DELUXE EDITION. It’s filled with collaborations from heavy-hitters like Yandel, Ñengo Flow, Tiago PZK, Alemán, JC Reyes, Saiko, and Dei V. The rising Chilean star recorded the album across Mexico, Spain, the U.S., and Chile, and it blends reggaetón, trap, pop, and alt-rock. “Destello..” is one of the slower tracks, with a haunting but beautiful guitar carrying it through.

tatool, Trueno – lo que pase

Argentine producer Tatool makes a big debut with “lo que pase,” featuring his fellow Argentine, TRUENO. The self-producing artist explained his decision to venture into his own lane on Instagram, explaining, “I found a sound I wanted to make, but it didn’t fit into any of the projects I was working on. So, I decided to create my own.” The track has elements of electronic, afrohouse, and urban beats, making for a unique, high-energy listening experience.

Gerardo Ortiz, Código FN – Por Ahí, Por Ahí 

Regional music star Gerardo Ortiz and Codigo FN team up for “Por Ahí, Por Ahí.” The track comes with a well-produced music video that tells a story about personal growth and the power of making your dreams come true.

Sasha Keable – can’t stop

British-Colombian R&B star Sasha Keable drops her album Act Right, which we tackled after a brutal breakup. For her, the body of work is her way of reclaiming control. “This project comes from a place of betrayal and heartbreak,” she said in a press release. “I felt like if I didn’t make this music I might lose my mind. I made this project for myself; it’s exactly what I needed.”
