Bella Hadid is returning to work on the projects that matter the most to her. The 28-year-old model appears to be returning to the spotlight after a year spent mostly away from the runway and the public eye, with a renewed joy for her passion projects.
She shared a post on Instagram discussing her time in “Holland’s Next Top Model,” the reality series where her mother, Yolanda Hadid, serves as one of the judges.
The post is made up of various photos and videos, including one of her mother kissing her cheek while she smiles for the cameras. More photos show her alongside the series’ judges and the contestants, and being involved in various shoots.
Videos showed her taking some photos and showing off her skills in front of the camera, sharing just how good and natural she is at her job.
Hadid’s emotional experience
In the post’s caption, Hadid revealed that her fragrance brand Orebella was featured on the episode, which was a moment of great pride for her. She also opened up about her admiration for her mother.
“Thank you Holland’s Next Top Model for having me on as a guest judge! To have Orobella be shot, on a show so dear to my heart, in my most beautiful Holland, was a dream. To watch my mama work and be a second mama to a new generation of young creative human beings is such a blessing to me!” she wrote.
“Things that my mom can teach, she wasn’t taught. It’s part of who she is. Her talent, nurturing ability, maternal instincts, confidence in hard work and success, faith in people, and love for fashion is what makes her so special, especially on a show like this. I am so proud of you mama!”
Hadid also praised the series contestants, with whom she empathized from the moment she saw them.
“This was just an incredible experience to watch these young women and men push themselves but also grow to know themselves better than when they arrived. I saw so much of myself in every one of them, and I am proud of each one for getting through a competition that I know for sure is mentally and physically exhausting.”
“Congratulations to all of the models, and good luck. I love you!”
