Bella Hadid was pulled over before Adan Banuelos’ arrest: Details

Adan Banuelos‘ arrest on January 31 came with questions and an unforgettable mugshot. Now we are getting more details about what happened the night he traded his cowboy hat for jailhouse scrubs. According to TMZ, he wasn’t the only one talking to cops that day; Bella Hadid was pulled over first. 

Banuelos and Hadid were recorded dancing together at a bar in Weatherford, Texas, just hours before his arrest. Then it seems they parted ways. The timeline gets a little confusing, but TMZ reported that Hadid was pulled over in a traffic stop by deputies at Gator’s Cantina. They did not reveal what she was pulled over for, but apparently, Banuelos approached the cops in the parking lot and told them he was worried about his girlfriend. 

The professional cowboy said Hadid left her phone in the bar, and he was following her because he “cared for her.” The arresting officer wrote, “I immediately noted that Adan’s speech was slurred and his eyes were bloodshot and glassy.” They also noted there was an “odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath.”

His truck was left running with a white dog inside, which was Hadid’s. It seems like he wasn’t charged with a DUI because he denied driving the truck. The report states that he told police, “he was at home with a friend when Isabella came home and then left again to go back to the bar.”

“Adan said that he and his friend got into the truck and drove after Isabella, and when they arrived at the bar, his friend went inside, and Adan walked over to the traffic stop,” it continued. According to TMZ, when he was questioned at the Parker County jail, he refused to provide the name of his friend, whom he claimed was the driver.

Banuelos admitted to drinking 4 beers over the course of the day and agreed to take a field sobriety test. The Cutting master may have done better on a horse because officers determined he was intoxicated. They placed him in custody to stop the chance that he “possibly driving a vehicle or posing a danger to himself or others.”

The officer said he “released Adan’s property and his vehicle to his girlfriend, who was identified as Isabella Hadid, at his request.” He was released from the Parker County Jail after paying a minor fee of $386.

Despite reports that they broke up, Hadid was referenced as his girlfriend throughout the report. Sources told TMZ they were kissing and acting very much like a couple inside the bar, too.
