Ben Affleck and his dog cruise in style in a restored classic car

Ben Affleck is betting on sustainability. The actor and filmmaker was recently photographed in Los Angeles with his dog, as the two walked out towards Affleck’s vintage Cadillac, a vehicle that’s recently undergone an expensive reinvention as an electric vehicle.

Affleck was photographed with his dog, wearing a grey suit that he paired with a gray button-up. He was accompanied by his German Shepherd, a breed of dog that he’s favored over the years. 

One of Affleck’s most notable pets was called Hutch, and lived with him for many years, with Affleck first acquiring him in 2011, back when he lived with Jennifer Garner.

Hutch was often seen with Affleck in all sorts of locations, including on walks through Los Angeles and accompanying him on the set of his films.

Affleck and his current dog, whom we don’t know the name of yet, were seen walking together, with Affleck later seen driving his restored 1969 Cadillac DeVille.

According to the photo agency, Affleck gave the car a modern twist, replacing the traditional circuitry and making it into an electric vehicle. 

The change is an expensive one and required different changes, including swapping out the original combustion engine for an electric motor and battery pack.

It also demanded that the car have some components installed, including a charger and controller. The conversion of the vehicle is likely one that his daughter, Violet Affleck, approved of. As of recent years, Violet has become a proponent of environmental causes, publishing an essay at Yale University’s official publication discussing the recent California wildfires and the long-lasting impact of COVID-19 on the world. 

Is Lopez sending Affleck messages through her music?

Over the past year, Jennifer Lopez has been touring all over the world, performing the songs from her most recent record, which explores her relationship with Ben Affleck. 

According to different sources, Affleck’s presence can be felt in her concerts, with Lopez not backing down from exploring their relationship with the audience. 

“The material is inspired by what she went through during her relationship with Ben,” said a source to The US Sun. “‘Wreckage of You’ was so specifically about Ben, and ‘Up All Night’ points to where Jennifer is at in her life right now. This is a whole new era for Jennifer, and she isn’t going to be holding back.”
