On Friday, December 13, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, and Jennifer Lopez reunited for a special occasion: supporting their children in a school play. According to TMZ, Affleck and Garner’s 15-year-old child, Fin, performed in the production alongside Lopez’s 16-year-old child, Emme. The trio was photographed arriving at the venue in distinct looks.
Affleck, 52, opted for a sleek black suit, while Lopez, 55, embraced festive flair in a heavy white coat layered over a red blouse and jeans. Garner, also 52, kept it casual in jeans and a black athletic jacket. Though it’s unclear whether the three stars interacted during the event, onlookers noted that Affleck shared a brief conversation with Emme before departing.
Affleck and Garner, who share three children—Violet, 19, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12—have been seen spending time together frequently this holiday season. On December 7, the former couple was spotted driving through Los Angeles after Garner picked up bagels for breakfast. They reportedly enjoyed a meal together before heading to Affleck’s home.
Garner, who is currently dating businessman John Miller, has made family her top priority, ensuring a harmonious holiday season with Affleck and their children. A source previously told PEOPLE, “Jen truly just wants her kids to be happy. She will continue to make sure that they spend time together as a family and include Ben.”
The blended family also celebrated Thanksgiving together by volunteering at The Midnight Mission’s annual Thanksgiving Street Fair in L.A., serving meals to the homeless community. “They truly enjoy giving back to their community and cherishing quality time together as a family,” an insider shared. While Affleck and Garner finalized their divorce 2018 after a decade of marriage, but they’ve maintained a strong co-parenting relationship.
Lopez, who married Affleck in 2022, has also supported these efforts, fostering a positive environment for all of their children. JLo recently shared her cover story with Entertainment Weekly on social media, highlighting her UNSTOPABLE character’s grit and resilience in the post’s caption. “When I first learned about the true story behind Unstoppable, I was moved beyond words,” she said. “When I watched the movie, when I watched me, I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, I was pretty weak. I kind of don’t want to see that part of me.’ But I know that was my growth journey.” Judy said Lopez’s performance shows her full journey. “People aren’t left with a sense of who I used to be, but who I am now,” she said of viewers.
Lopez revealed that she has a lot in common with Robles, including playing the role of a single parent. Lopez shares her twins with Marc Anthony. “I’ve been a single mom at times in my life, and [I’ve asked,] ‘Am I enough for them?’ And the truth is, all you need is really one good parent to love you,” she said.
