The Oscar winner is officially leaving behind his $100K-a-month Brentwood pad and, by the looks of it, any lingering hope for a reunion with Jennifer Lopez.

According to TMZ, Ben Affleck closed escrow on a very private $20.5 million Brentwood estate. A custom-built beauty just minutes away from Garner and their three kids because co-parenting logistics matter, even when you’re a Hollywood A-lister with the Best Picture Oscar.

According to Radar Online, a source says Ben moving into this new space is “the final insult.” Apparently, Lopez had been holding onto the idea that some time apart could lead to a reconciliation. Instead, Ben closed the deal, packed up, and dipped. “This is like a stab in the heart,” the insider said. Not exactly the soft landing she may have hoped for.

What about Jennifer Garner?

Garner, on the other hand, seems to be thriving. She’s keeping things low-key as always, focusing on her birthday, kids, and life. Ben’s new place, being close to hers, is likely more about parenting logistics than romantic subplots.
