Bigi Jackson was spotted on a rare outing with his friends in Los Angeles. The youngest son of Michael Jackson was seen over the weekend, looking comfortable and relaxed with some friends as they stopped by for lunch. For the occasion, he showed off his movie-buff side with his selection of t-shirts.
In paparazzi photos, Bigi, 24, looked comfortable in black pants and a blue t-shirt that shouts out “Jaws,” one of the world’s most famous movies. The t-shirt reads “Quint’s Shark Fishing,” a shop set in Amity Island, the fictional town that was terrorized by the Great White shark in the Steven Spielberg classic.
Bigi looked relaxed and happy, catching up with his friends. At one point, he looked shocked at something he heard, with the moment captured by photographers.
Bigi is the youngest of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe. The pair also shares Prince, 29, and Paris, 27. Despite Bigi’s desire to lead a more private life than his siblings, the three maintain a positive and strong relationship, with Bigi and Prince sharing a passion for sci-fi and science, as reported by PEOPLE.
On Bigi’s 18th birthday, Paris celebrated his younger brother with a sweet post shared on her social media. “My little brother is a legal adult today. what the f—,” she wrote in an Instagram post featuring three throwback photos of Bigi. “I used to change his diapers. this is such a trip.. proud of the handsome, intelligent, insightful, funny, and kind young man he has become. he likes privacy so that’s all i gotta say. hbd lil bro.”
Bigi’s passion for climate change
Bigi’s interests and passions have been kept private for most of his life, but he has previously voiced his passion for the environment. In a 2021 interview with “Good Morning Britain,” Bigi invited journalists to his father’s home, sharing some of the issues that he’s interested in.
“I do think it’s important we all know about it,” he said of climate change. “We have some work to do but our generation knows how important it is.”
He also talked about his dad and the importance of his home. “There’s a lot of really cool stuff here. There’s a lot of history in this house and the studio here. That’s what he was all about,” he said. He also opened up about his siblings and their shared mission to uphold their father’s legacy.
“That’s what each of us want to do — make things that people enjoy but also benefit their lives.”
