Britney Spears has returned to Instagram with a daring post, just a few days after deactivating her account.
Four days after deleting her page following a series of “bizarre” uploads, the 43-year-old pop icon reappeared on the platform, sharing a screenshot from a video in which she posed in lingerie.
Standing outside her closet, Spears tilted her head slightly as she showcased her revealing outfit.
“So much has happened this year, it’s crazy,” she began in a lengthy caption.
She continued, “I try to live within my means and the book, ‘Draw the Circle’ is an incredible perspective.”
While she didn’t mention her brief social media hiatus, the singer offered a reflective message to her followers, later admitting that her post had “a confusing side.”
“Get your ballerina [pointe shoes emoji], circle, and own your boundaries,” she wrote. “It’s incredibly strict and somewhat of a form of prayer but with so many endless possibilities in life, it’s important to do you and keep it simple. I know there is a confusing side too. The devil is in the details but we can get to that later.”
She ended the caption with three emojis — one blushing in surprise, one laughing with tears, and another blowing its nose.
The singer’s return comes shortly after raising concern among fans over a series of unusual posts and a public spat with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, 47. Spears deactivated her Instagram on Sunday before reactivating it the following Friday night.
Her brief disappearance came after she uploaded a video of herself dancing with visible bruises on her arms and writing cryptic captions referencing her sons, Jayden James, 19, and Sean Preston, 20.
Just last month, Spears clapped back at claims that her Los Angeles mansion was “dirty,” posting a video of herself modeling a skimpy swimsuit.
Prior to that, she revealed she had sustained a “horrible” leg injury while dancing, sharing a clip in which she wore a sparkly pink mini dress and a white bandage wrapped around her right knee.
Welcome back, Britney!
