Brooklyn Beckham narrowly avoids run-in with Romeo Beckham in LA

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham is sticking to his resolution. Earlier this year, he made it clear he was taking some distance from his family, something that he has stuck to over the ensuing months. This week, he’s had a couple of almost encounters with his father, David, and now, his brother Romeo. 

According to The Daily Mail, Romeo is currently in Los Angeles on a business project, reportedly meeting up with designer Justin Saul for a collaboration. 

The outlet reports that Brooklyn has opted to keep a low profile, avoiding any awkward encounters with his family, sticking to his villa in Beverly Hills, where he lives with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.

“There is absolutely no contact between Brooklyn and his parents, and there hasn’t been for some time, it is desperately sad but that is how Brooklyn has chosen to live his life with Nicola,” said a source to the outlet.

David and Brooklyn’s almost encounter

Earlier this week, it was reported that David Beckham was also in Los Angeles, reportedly at The Beverly Hills Hotel, where Brooklyn was also staying. According to The Daily Mail, the two almost ran into each other on separate occasions.

According to sources, the two had no idea the other was there, with David arriving in Los Angeles following a ski trip he took with his son Romeo and some friends in Canada. In the case of Brooklyn, he was at the hotel enjoying the pool after attending Elton John’s Oscars bash.

“Brooklyn also probably had no idea that his father was staying in a room just yards away from where they were having their breakfast,” said a source to the outlet. “David looked like he was having a great time when he was at dinner; you wonder if that would have been different if he had known he had missed his son.” 

The insider said that “if fate had intervened and they did come face-to-face, it would have been very awkward. Brooklyn has made it very clear he doesn’t want anything to do with David or Victoria, so it probably saved a whole lot of upset for David.”
