Brooklyn Beckham is keeping his distance from everyone, opining about his personal life. Following Gordon Ramsay’s comments about the Beckham family drama, Brooklyn has decided to stop following Ramsay and various members of his family.
Earlier this month, Ramsay shared his support for David and Victoria Beckham, their close friends. “Victoria is upset, and [has] every right to be upset,” he said in an interview with The Sun. “We were there at the wedding. There was nothing salacious. There was nothing inappropriate. Everyone was having fun [and] having a dance.”
“It’s a very difficult situation,” he continued. “Victoria is upset, and I know 24/7, seven days a week, just how much David loves Brooklyn.”
He also had some words of advice for Brooklyn. “Take a moment to yourself and just remember you’re half-mum, half-dad,” Gordon said. He then referenced Brooklyn’s father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, who has supported Brooklyn in past weeks.
“You’re an amazing young man, but boy, they’ve done more for you than anyone will do in your entire life—any father-in-law, let me tell you,” said Ramsay. “Their relationship with Brooklyn was solid,” he continued. “I’ve seen firsthand just how good of parents they are.”
He concluded the exchange by sharing his belief that Brooklyn would change his mind at some point in the future. “I think it’s only going to be a matter of time before Brooklyn looks at himself and understands just what his parents mean to him,” Ramsay said.
Following the publication of the interview, Brooklyn has unfollowed various members of the Ramsay family, including Gordon himself and his daughter, Holly, and Jack. She and Brooklyn had been friends for years, with the Ramsay and Beckham families having a relationship that dates back over two decades.
Brooklyn’s decision to step back from his family
Earlier this year, Brooklyn shared a statement on social media, making it clear that he had no interest in reconnecting with his family. He shared his perspective on things for the first time in his life, sharing that he and his wife, Nicola Peltz, felt unwelcome in their family ever since they began their relationship.
On Valentine’s Day, Brooklyn shared a sweet photo alongside Peltz, showing the two sharing a kiss in black and white. “Happy Valentine’s Day baby x I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to call you my valentines every year x I love you more than you know and I will forever protect and love you x,” he wrote.
