Helen George enjoyed a star-studded date night with her beau, Dan Innes, on Thursday evening. Pictured at the Ham Yard Hotel in London, the couple – who confirmed their romance in January 2025 – got dressed up for a private screening of Call The Midwife‘s season 15 finale. Stepping out in leather high-waisted trousers and a plunging satin top, Helen, 41, beamed as she cuddled up to Dan, a real estate consultant whom she reportedly met on the A-list dating app, Raya.
Putting on an equally stylish display, Dan, 51, was seen alongside Helen in an ink blue suede jacket, which he teamed with a classic black tee and tailored trousers. Flanked by Helen’s co-stars, the couple were joined by Victoria Yeates, Miriam Margolyes, Renee Bailey, Stephen McGann, and Natalie Quarry.
Shedding some light on Thursday’s screening, Call The Midwife‘s official Instagram account has since shared photos from the event, including one of Helen. “Well, what an emotional night!! To mark the culmination of Series 15, our lovely producers, Neal Street, hosted a very special screening of our Series Finale – for all of our Call the Midwife family, past and present,” the caption explained.
“Work commitments meant that not everybody was able to make it of course, but what a turnout we had!!!! Much-loved cast members and crew from every part of our last fifteen years gathered together – there were tearful reunions – many baby photos were shared – and there was so much joy in the room!”
Helen’s romance with real estate consultant Dan Innes
While little is known about their romance, Helen and Dan were first linked in January 2025, and in the 15 months since, have continued to go from strength to strength. Regularly posting on Instagram, the actress has shared snaps from their romantic getaways on the platform, and revealed in January 2026 that Dan had accompanied her on a family trip to Lapland with her daughters, Wren, six, and Lark, three. More recently, Helen and Dan enjoyed a “Valentine’s break” in Cornwall, with the girls in tow too.
© Instagram/ @helenrgeorgeHelen, who is notoriously private, rarely speaks about her relationships, so fans were pleasantly surprised when she chatted to The Mail’s You magazine about Dan. “It’s a very happy relationship,” the mum-of-two told the publication in December. “It’s lovely to be with someone outside the industry. I’m not defined by my job, and I’m really interested in meeting the people he works with.”
The couple, who have both been divorced in the past, have a lot in common, and Dan is also a doting father to two children.

The pair, who met on the set of the BBC drama in 2015, were together from 2016 to 2023, before going their separate ways. Following their split, the duo have continued to co-parent their children.
