Cameron Diaz put a shimmery twist on her sartorial agenda this week as she appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show. Opting for a cozy gray knit sweater, the actress kept things relaxed while introducing a dose of sparkle with her skirt.
The 53-year-old rocked a silver sequin embellished maxi skirt that featured a flowing silhouette. The statement piece was styled with a pair of pointed-toe pumps and simple silver hoop earrings.
Cameron’s luscious blonde locks were left down in soft waves with a side parting while her makeup oozed glam, courtesy of a radiant complexion enhanced by a pinch of blush and a rosy lip.
Outcome
The star appeared on the show to promote her new Apple TV film, Outcome, which was released on April 11. The movie is co-written, directed and produced by Hollywood actor Jonah Hill. The star explained that the film is “a metaphor for what we all go through living on social media. Social media has made us obsessed [with] what people we don’t know think of us, instead of caring about what the people who know us best think of us.”
The film’s official synopsis reads: “Reef Hawk, Hollywood’s poster child since age six, is not okay. When he learns about an extortion plot tied to a mysterious video, Reef preemptively sets out on a redemption tour to make amends, confront his demons, and avoid getting canceled.”
Cameron Diaz’s age-defying look
Cameron previously opened up in an interview with Goop about her beauty secrets. “I’ve been wearing makeup every day for most of my life, because of work, and it was really depleting to my skin,” she shared. “I always had a breakout. And since I stopped wearing a lot of it, in my 40s – obviously I’m older, too, but I was getting breakouts well into my 40s – I like my skin much better.”
She continued: “I’m so into the goop glow. I just love the Microderm scrub – it feels so good and really makes a difference in my skin. I have a face oil, and a retinol from Versed, and that’s about it. When I get up in the morning, I run my skin under the water in the shower – I don’t even use a cleanser in the mornings.”
Cameron explained that after years of having to wear makeup for movies, she now enjoys it as “a fun little touch up.” “Merit makes absolutely beautiful things, like my favorite lipstick, their Signature Lip in Cabo, which is just bright and light and effortless. And Gucci Westman’s highlight is so pretty, and her lip palettes are amazing, in every shade.”
