Camila Cabello has just proven that red is the ultimate post-Valentine’s Day statement. The 28-year-old singer shared a sizzling mirror selfie on Instagram, rocking a fiery scarlet bikini that made the season’s color feel like an official uniform.
No caption was needed, just a series of tropical emojis. The message was clear, as the singer is in full vacation mode. The two-piece is classic at first glance, consisting of a triangle top paired with low-rise bottoms.
But the details turn up the flirt factor, featuring a small gold ring at the center of the top draws the eye, while the high-rise bottoms tie at both hips with slim strings capped with delicate gold aglets. Cabello accessorized with gold-rimmed seashell earrings and a cross pendant necklace, adding subtle sparkle to the beach-ready look.
“Tranquilo Bobby, tranquilo,” she wrote alongside one shot, proving she is a fan of Juan Luis Guerra, as pal Zoe Saldana hit the like button. Her long brunette locks were pulled up, keeping the focus on her radiant figure and sun-kissed skin.
Henry Junior Chalhoub, Cabello’s billionaire boyfriend of two years, was notably absent from the snaps, leaving the singer to bask in the sand solo.
While her post-Valentine’s look made red the color of the moment, Cabello has also been embracing another vibrant hue, orange. During a recent vacation, the singer stepped out in a bold halter minidress in a shade she dubbed “Showgirl orange.”
The glossy corset-style piece featured a deep bust cutout held together by criss-cross lace-up accents, paired with a flowing asymmetrical skirt that added a romantic, retro touch.
“Real life angel,” one fan wrote, while another simply commented, “This dressss.” The ensemble, finished with chunky gold earrings and minimal makeup, cemented Cabello’s status as a trendsetter for the citrusy orange palette.
Beyond fashion, Cabello has been quietly supportive of her former girl group, Fifth Harmony. Though she left the band in December 2016, the singer has responded warmly to their surprise reunion last September at a Jonas Brothers show in Dallas, Texas.
Sharing a clip of the group performing their 2015 hit single, Cabello commented with four heart emojis, signaling her love for her former bandmates.
The remaining members, Ally Brooke, Normani, Lauren Jauregui, and Dinah Jane, have been teasing further activity. Brooke told Billboard, “We’ll see… we’re not sure,” while Jane added, “I love that our fans can reminisce on such good times and I love that we’re getting the credit again. Our music was very impactful at the time and I feel like it was kind of overlooked, to be honest. So now that it’s reviving again on its own it just shows our music speaks for itself.”
