Camila Mendes turned heads on Thursday night as she stepped out for the U.S. premiere of her latest film, Idiotka, in New York City.
The 31-year-old actress attended the screening, hosted by Utopia, at the Crown Hill Theatre on February 5, where she was joined by several of her co-stars, including Anna Baryshnikov, Julia Fox, Nerses Stamos, and Rachel Matthews, as well as writer-director Natasya Popov. Additional cast members in the film include Owen Thiele, Benito Skinner, Jake Choi, and Saweetie.
For the special occasion, Mendes made a bold fashion statement in an archival Chanel Spring 1992 look, proving that vintage couture remains as relevant as ever. She paired a scoop-neck white CC tank top with a voluminous tulle skirt, cinched at the waist with a gold chain-linked belt.
Once reserved for fleeting red carpet moments, archival fashion has become increasingly popular — and Mendes’ ensemble showcased exactly why.
