Cardi B is addressing some of the most inflammatory rumors that are plaguing her life. In a string of X exchanges, Cardi B talked to fans, discussing some of the most recent articles that have been featured about her, including a rumor that she trashed the set of her SNL performance over a Nicki Minaj joke.
The report that Cardi was upset with the joke was shared by TMZ. “Hmmm all these little random stories… [f**k] it, let them talk, let them eat cake, let them come to the ballllll,” she wrote on X, hours after the article came out.
The story was reposted by Alex Bruesewitz, one of Donald Trump’s senior advisors. He wrote, “This is why people are calling her ‘crash out Cardi.”
A fan wrote an encouraging message to Cardi, replying to Bruesewitz, “Then look who was quick to jump on the story! Cardi you make these people SICK knowing they can never control you. I see exactly why you named the album AM I THE DRAMA?”

Cardi and Nicki Minaj have been engaged in a years-long feud that in recent months has escalated following the release of Cardi’s new album. Both women have been sending messages to each other, criticizing each other’s parenting styles and album sales.

According to TMZ, Colin Jost and Michael Che were rehearsing some of their jokes for their “Weekend Update” segment, including a joke about Nicki Minaj. The quip was allegedly unrelated to Cardi, instead, focusing on Minaj’s new friendship with Trump.
Reportedly, Cardi B destroyed some equipment and threatened that she was not going to be a part of the show. The outlet reports that Cardi allegedly threw her phone against a TV monitor backstage, and that she punched a screen in the producers’ office until it broke, with it having to be replaced before the start of the show.
The outlet claims that the joke was ultimately scrapped and that cast members were left feeling rattled.
