Los Angeles is about to get a little more legendary. When Barça Legends and Real Madrid Leyendas face off at BMO Stadium on February 22, 2026, the historic kickoff will be delivered by none other than Carmen Electra, serving as the Official Ball Presenter for The Legends Series LA.
It’s a role that feels perfectly on-brand. Electra has always existed at the intersection of sports, pop culture, and spectacle, and this moment places her right at the center of a match built on legacy, nostalgia, and star power.
Electra shared her excitement on Instagram, sharing a promo image announcing the news on Wednesday, writing in the caption, “Excited to be part of Project: The Legend Series with @wearehouseofheroes.” “This is all about inspiring the next generation through the beautiful game. Can’t wait to see you there Feb 22nd,” she continued.
The game, airing exclusively on CBS Sports Golazo Network, marks the inaugural match of House of Heroes’ Legends Series, a platform designed to celebrate the greatest figures in global football and extend their influence beyond the pitch.
Who’s playing?
On the field, the talent is just as stacked. Barça Legends is led by icons like Ronaldinho and Rafael Márquez, joined by a deep bench of former club standouts including Javier Saviola, Gaizka Mendieta, Nolito, and Martín Montoya, with Albert Ferrer managing the squad.
Across the pitch, Real Madrid Leyendas bring their own heavyweight energy, featuring legends like Luis Figo, Marcelo, Guti, Claude Makélélé, and Álvaro Negredo, managed by José Antonio Camacho. Real Madrid icon Hugo Sánchez is also confirmed as a participating legend, adding even more gravity to the moment Electra will help launch.
What to expect
This event isn’t just about the 90 minutes. House of Heroes is leaning fully into culture, debuting exclusive art and merchandise collaborations that celebrate player legacy on and off the field.
Los Angeles-based artist Gabriel Diogo has created limited-edition illustrations of Ronaldinho and Figo. Meanwhile, RRose From Concrete (RRose®), founded by Ray Rose, brings its storytelling-driven aesthetic to a custom jersey collaboration sold only at the match.
The day also comes with a full-scale production feel: Sarina Cross will perform the National Anthem, DJ Vice will provide live DJ entertainment, and the match will be broadcast locally through iHeartMedia stations and the iHeartRadio App.
Kickoff is set for 2:00 PM local time, with tickets available via Ticketmaster.
There will also be a press conference on Saturday, and a red carpet on Sunday ahead of the game. HOLA! will be covering all the fun, so stay tuned to our Instagram.
