Long locks loading! Celebrity hairstylist Marc Mena, whose clients include Madelaine Petsch, Natalia Dyer, Madelyn Cline, Jenna Dewan, Ariana Greenblatt, Mindy Kaling, Keri Russell, Zoe Saldaña, and more, knows a thing or two about great hair. And according to the pro, the secret to growing stronger strands might surprise you.
Mena’s love of hair started early. As a teenager, he began styling to help his sister regain confidence while dealing with alopecia, an experience that shaped how he approaches beauty to this day.
“I learned to create hairstyles that helped cover bald spots and made her feel good. That experience showed me how powerful hair can be not just aesthetically, but emotionally too,” he shares.
