Celine Dion has had a wonderful life and her career has taken her to some fabulous places. The “My Heart Will Go On” hitmaker has been feeling nostalgic over the past few days and sharing a series of throwback photos from her travels, including a recent picture series from a trip to New York City back in 2020.
The photos captivated her followers due to her bold – and stylish – outfit choice, which received many compliments from fans. The award-winning singer looked chic in a white oversized polo sweater embroidered with an intricate beaded flower, teamed with a voluminous pink floral puffball skirt.
A pair of leg-lengthening statement white heeled boots completed the ensemble. Alongside the pictures, which included one of Celine lounging on a chair while admiring the view of the city’s iconic skyscrapers from the window, she wrote: “A quiet moment by the window, taking in the New York skyline and all its possibilities…”
Carrie Bradshaw moment
Celine’s outfit drew comparisons to Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw, with many fans commenting on this. “This is giving me Carrie Bradshaw energy,” one wrote, while another remarked: “Carrie Bradshaw could never!” A third added: “It’s Sarah Jessica Parker in the best possible way.”

Keeping fans updated
The singer regularly shares posts with her fans on social media, and at the start of March, paid tribute to her beloved late husband, René Angélil, who died in 2016 from throat cancer.
“Mon amour, ten years without you feels like just a day, and yet each day feels like a decade,” she wrote. “Ten years without your caress, and yet every day I feel your touch…We miss you more than we can bear, but you taught us to be strong.”She ended the message by signing off from herself and her three sons, Renee Charles, and twins Nelson and Eddy.
“We love you more, every day and every year – Céline, RC, Nelson and Eddy xx,” she wrote.
Health battle
Celine has had a difficult few years after being diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome in 2022, but she hasn’t let it dampen her spirits. She’s also had the support of her family, including her three boys, and fans, who have praised her motivation to fight through her challenges.
The “My Heart Will Go On Singer” made sure to give a shout-out to her boys at the New York City premiere of her documentary, I Am: Celine Dion, in 2024, sweetly declaring, “I wouldn’t be here without the daily love and support from my wonderful children.
