Chappell Roan stuns in black sheer ‘naked’ dress at Paris Fashion Week

Chappell Roan is quickly becoming one of fashion’s most fearless new muses – and her latest appearances at Paris Fashion Week proved she’s more than comfortable taking risks.

The 28-year-old singer made a jaw-dropping entrance at the McQueen Womenswear Fall/Winter 2026-2027 show on Sunday March 8, 2026, stepping onto the Paris scene in a dramatic sheer black gown that left little to the imagination. 

The floor-length dress featured a gauzy, transparent silhouette layered over black lingerie, creating the illusion of a daring “naked” look while still maintaining an elegant, high-fashion edge.

Chappell paired the striking ensemble with a towering crystal-embellished statement necklace that framed the neckline like a piece of armor. Matching bracelets and long, sculpted nails added to the gothic glamour, while her signature copper-red hair tumbled in dramatic curls down her back.

Her makeup echoed the theatrical mood of the look: smoky eyes, sculpted cheekbones and a bold matte lip gave her an almost otherworldly presence as she posed for photographers outside the show.

Just one day earlier, Roan delivered another memorable fashion moment while attending the Vivienne Westwood Womenswear Fall/Winter 2026-2027 presentation. For that appearance, she leaned fully into the British fashion house’s rebellious spirit.

The performer wore a structured olive-toned coat-dress with an exaggerated train that cascaded behind her, paired with sheer black tights and towering heels. 

A dramatic beehive-style updo – piled high with fiery red curls – gave the look a distinctly punk-meets-Victorian flair, while lace gloves and heavy eyeliner added to the theatrical effect.
