Jannik Sinner made history at the Monte Carlo Masters, one of the oldest tournaments in tennis, first held in 1897, defeating Carlos Alcaraz in the final to claim his 27th career ATP title. The 7–6, 6–3 victory underscored his authority and marked his return to the top of the rankings. The 24-year-old is back at world No. 1 after losing the spot to Alcaraz in September 2025.

Jannik Sinner is, as of today, the best tennis player on the planet.

The event once again drew some of the Principality’s most prominent figures. Among those in the stands were Charlene of Monaco, known for her refined style, Charlotte Casiraghi, and Alexandra of Hanover, joined by Prince Albert II of Monaco, a familiar presence at the tournament and a longtime tennis fan. Charlene was also on hand for the trophy ceremony, where she helped present awards to the finalist and the champion.

While their presence in the semifinals on Saturday surprised many on an already unpredictable day, the focus of the final also shifted to a detail of style. Charlene and Charlotte each leaned into a similar look. Charlene stayed true to her signature white, while Monaco’s younger royal took a more adventurous approach to making a fashion statement. The common denominator was clear: structured blazers and the timeless striped pattern tying the looks together.

Also drawing attention was Laila Hasanovic. The Danish model of Bosnian descent has been dating Sinner for several months, and the two have increasingly been seen together at key moments in his career. Her poised, confident presence stood out in the crowd, and from the players’ box alongside Formula 1 driver George Russell, she cheered him on as he delivered a composed performance in the final.

Charlene of Monaco: the power of the impeccably tailored white suit

Charlene consistently turns to white for key appearances. She has a clear sense of occasion, and her style has become a signature in its own right. A true ambassador of quiet luxury, she always manages to make a statement.

For this major moment on the sporting calendar, the princess opted for a crisp white pinstripe suit, sharply tailored with a double-breasted blazer that leans into a subtle menswear-inspired silhouette.

When it was time for her beauty look, Charlene kept things effortlessly polished, sticking with her now-signature updo, swept to one side to frame her face and highlight her features. Her makeup stayed soft and natural, in neutral tones with a hint of pink on the lips. And while watching from the stands, she added a touch of attitude with a pair of bold, cat-eye sunglasses, bringing a modern edge to the look.

Charlotte Casiraghi: the effortless elegance of the Parisian uniform

Charlotte is a fashion icon, and as a Chanel ambassador, she knows exactly how to make even the simplest look feel elevated. At the Monte Carlo final, she went for something relaxed but still very put-together, capturing that effortless Parisian style she’s known for.

The look centers on classic straight-leg jeans paired with a blue striped shirt, slightly unbuttoned at the collar and finished with a navy double-breasted blazer. It may seem simple at first glance, but there’s clear intention behind it, from the balanced proportions to the effortless layering and cohesive color palette. A standout touch is the braided belt, which adds texture, while the rolled-up sleeves bring that relaxed feel Charlotte does so well. She kept the accessories minimal, with delicate jewelry and natural makeup, letting the outfit do the talking.
