Will Reeve, the son of Christopher and Dana Reeve, has married Amanda Dubin in Miami. The 33-year-old ABC News correspondent and the youngest child of the late “Superman” actor exchanged vows with his partner in a romantic ceremony hosted in Florida.

Just before the wedding, the bride’s mother, Victoria Dubin, shared her excitement on her Instagram Stories.

“The bride has just departed for her first look,” she wrote. “She took our breath away and the emotion her father and I feel is palpable.”

Amanda and her mother are event planners and the co-owners of Victoria Dubin Events. The two worked hard, so every detail in Amanda and Will’s special was unforgettable.

Several of Will’s colleagues from ABC News were among the guests. One shared images from the celebration in Miami alongside friends, including Amber Laign, Sam Champion, and Lara Spencer, describing the occasion as “a magical night celebrating a magical couple.”

Will and Amanda made their relationship public in April 2023 with a selfie in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and they announced their engagement in November 2024.

Remembering his parents

The ceremony was emotional, featuring heartfelt tributes to Will’s late parents. He was 12 years old when his father, Christopher Reeve, died. Two years later, he lost his mother, Dana Reeve, to lung cancer. Although Christopher and Dana had only one child together, Will has two older siblings, Matthew and Alexandra Reeve, from his father’s first marriage to Gae Exton.

Out of Reeve’s three kids, Will is often noted as the one who most closely resembles his father and his emblematic Superman look. Months before the wedding, Will revealed how he planned to honor his dad: by wearing his cufflinks on his wedding day.

Will has spoken openly about his pride in being compared to the actor who played Clark Kent in four Superman films. “That means they’re talking about my family in a positive light and remembering our dad and our mom and our family in a way that honors them,” he said in an interview with PEOPLE. “I always take that as a compliment.”

Since losing his parents, Will has remained committed to preserving their legacy. Alongside his television career, he serves as president of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation with his siblings. The foundation was created to support research into spinal cord injuries, inspired by Reeve’s 1995 riding accident that left him paralyzed until he died in 2004.

Most recently, Will and his siblings released the documentary “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story,” which came out last year. The film traces the actor’s life, career, and his enduring impact, with Will making a brief appearance. The project reflects how the Reeve family continues to honor the past while embracing new beginnings, a sentiment that was echoed in Will and Amanda’s wedding celebration.
