Cruz Beckham shared a very unexpected photo of himself alongside his brother, Brooklyn, after the Cloud23 creator claimed he “doesn’t want reconciliation” with his family.
Taking to his Instagram account, Cruz, 20, posted two photos alongside Brooklyn in a ‘photo dump.’ The first was the featured image and showed Brooklyn, as a child, with his arms around his then-tiny brothers, Cruz and Romeo, now 23.
The second saw the brother trio, along with their younger sister Harper, 14, wearing beekeeping suits, likely taken on their Cotswolds family estate, where their dad, David Beckham, keeps bees.
Cruz didn’t caption the photos, but that didn’t stop his mother, Victoria Beckham, from weighing in, simply adding four red love heart emojis in the comments section.
The fashion designer’s sentiments were echoed in the comments by followers who pined for reconciliation within the A-list family.
“I hope you all work it out together soon,” one penned alongside a heart emoji. A second added: “Damn Brooklyn. Your fam loves you.” A third replied: “How lovely [red love heart emoji].”
Meanwhile, others replied directly to VB, one fan commenting: “You’re an amazing Mum Victoria [red love heart emoji],” while others just replied with hearts.
The update is the first time Cruz has publicly featured his brother on his social media following Brooklyn’s bombshell statement in January.
The statement contained a series of claims against his A-list parents, from the A-list couple trying to force Brooklyn’s hand in singing over to his name, to the former Spice Girl interrupting his first dance, all in the name of protecting “brand Beckham.”
Latest on the feud
Marc Anthony, the close family friend who DJ’d at Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz’s wedding in 2022, spoke out for the first time since his name was mentioned in the statement.
Brooklyn wrote: “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife, but instead, my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.
He added: “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”
On Tuesday, Marc Anthony has spoken out for the first time. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Marc said that the Beckham’s are a “wonderful, wonderful family” and said the situation was “extremely unfortunate”.
“I have nothing to say about what’s happening with the family,” said the 57-year-old. “They’re a wonderful, wonderful family. I’ve known them since before the kids were born. I’m godfather to Cruz. I’m really close to the family. But I have nothing to say about what happened there.”
He added: “It’s extremely unfortunate how it’s playing out — but [how it’s playing out] is hardly the truth.”
