Dakota Johnson and Adria Arjona pose together in romantic looks at Cannes Film Festival

Dakota Johnson and Adria Arjona are showing Cannes how it’s done. The stylish duo turned heads this week at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival, stepping out for the premiere and afterparty of ‘Splitsville,’ their upcoming romantic comedy.

After wowing in high-glam Gucci on the red carpet, Dakota delivered a more romantic look at the film’s afterparty. Wearing a cowl-neck Saint Laurent slip dress in a soft cream tone, washed in floral prints of orange and green, Dakota channeled ’90s rom-com nostalgia. 

The semi-sheer gown was paired with open-toe sandals and statement diamond earrings by Boucheron. By her side was Adria Arjona, who kept things sleek in a figure-hugging butter yellow gown paired with no jewelry and a barely-there makeup look.

The two fan-favorite actresses had a sweet moment, posing together at the exclusive event, alongside their co-star Alexander Skarsgård, who has been making headlines for his edgy and bold leather looks, including his Saint Laurent ensemble at the Cannes Film Festival, which included a pair of leather boots paired with a classic suit.

The ‘Hit Man’ star has been turning heads, attending multiple events in three different dresses. Earlier in the evening, the duo attended the premiere of Spike Lee’s highly anticipated film ‘Highest 2 Lowest.’

Dakota shimmered down the red carpet in a custom Gucci gown, a strapless, ultra-pale pink dress dripping in fringe. It was her second Gucci moment of the week after her glitzy naked dress from the night before, looking stunning in sequins and fringe.

Meanwhile, Adria arrived at the ‘Highest 2 Lowest’ premiere with her partner Jason Momoa in a satin green strapless gown, styled with her natural curls and a soft, undone updo.

‘Splitsville,’ directed by Michael Angelo Covino, is one of two romantic comedies Dakota Johnson stars in this year, alongside Celine Song’s ‘Materialists,’ which also nods to the golden age of ’90s and early 2000s Hollywood.
