David Hasselhoff has given fans a sweet glimpse into his marriage to wife Hayley Roberts as the couple celebrated her birthday in style.
The 74-year-old Baywatch star took to Instagram to share a series of intimate photos from the romantic occasion, which saw the couple enjoy a sun-soaked poolside celebration.
“Happy Birthday to my wife @hhayleyroberts,” David captioned the post, adding a party emoji.
In one photo, the actor could be seen smiling at his wife as he prepared to cut into a birthday cake decorated with fresh berries and candles.
Hayley looked delighted as she held a beautiful bouquet of pink roses, while a collection of pastel-coloured balloons, including a large “Happy Birthday” balloon and several metallic hearts, floated above the couple.
The Welsh beauty looked radiant in a pretty white summer dress adorned with a red floral print and featuring puff sleeves, while David kept things smart in a pale pink button-down shirt.
A second photo showed the pair raising their glasses at the beautifully laid outdoor table, with a sparkling swimming pool and lush greenery providing the perfect backdrop.
The couple, who have been together for more than a decade, celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in July.
David and Hayley’s romance began in 2011, when the former shop assistant approached the Hollywood star for an autograph while he was filming Britain’s Got Talent.
The pair hit it off, and after five years of dating, David popped the question during a romantic beachside picnic in Malibu in 2016.
They went on to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy on July 31, 2018, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Despite their 28-year age difference, David has previously spoken candidly about falling in love with Hayley and knowing she was the woman he wanted to marry.
“I waited to propose because I thought I was too old for her,” he previously told HELLO! in an exclusive interview.
The actor explained that he had ultimately realised he couldn’t imagine his life without her.
Hayley has been equally open about her affection for her husband, describing him as kind, funny and thoughtful in previous anniversary tributes.
