Tallulah Willis is commemorating the special milestones in her journey to her healthiest self.
The youngest daughter of `Demi Moore and Bruce Willis has long been candid about her health, from her autism diagnosis, to struggles with her appearance and removal of her fillers, as well as struggles with an eating disorder.
In addition to the 32-year-old, the The Substance actress and the Die Hard actor, who were married from 1987 to 2000, are also parents to daughters Rumer Willis, 37, and Scout Willis, 34, plus Bruce also shares daughters Mabel Ray, 13, and Evelyn Penn, 11, with wife Emma Heming, who he married in 2009.
Tallulah took to Instagram on Wednesday, February 25, during National Eating Disorder Week, and shared a photo of what her “early recovery” looked like, of her in a brown matching set and pink-dyed pixie cut.
She then wrote: “Many, many of you are familiar with my journey in this realm and have seen many facets of it over the years from following me,” adding: “Sometimes I get teased because ‘I’m such a diagnosis girlie’ but really for me, celebrating the things I’ve overcome by framing them within names and acronyms, it makes me feel safer.”
“So today instead [of] showing me in my illness, I wanted to show what my early recovery looked like,” she went on. “I had to lean so far into the unknown for me, but I knew it was where I needed to be at that moment to finally come back from the brink.”
“I’m grateful for my second chance at life, and the freedom recovery has given me. Stay the course beautiful birds I love you all so much,” she maintained.
Fans were quick to take to the comments section under the post and root for her, among them her sister Scout, who said she was “radiant,” adding: “Love you, proud of you!!!!!”
Others followed suit with: “Well done you, you look stunning with a stunning personality,” and: “You are like a breath of fresh air. Keep that light about you shining bright!” as well as: “One of the most authentic people on here and it makes us feel safe & seen. So grateful for you.”
Tallulah rang in her 32nd birthday earlier this month, and also reflected on her recovery at the time, sharing a photo of herself on her birthday six years ago.
“I didn’t want to put pressure on myself to post a current cutie face card and/or body pic bc I want to silence any body dysmorphia on my special day,” she noted.
Tallulah added: “Recovery looks different for everyone, today it’s showing myself that there’s nothing wrong with being softer and curvier now, and that the green dress girl was also lovable!”
