Kim Porter and Sean “Diddy” Combs shared three children together—Christian, and twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila. Diddy also helped raise Kim’s son Quincy, and she embraced his children from other relationships. Though they split in 2007, they remained close for their kids.
Kim tragically died on November 15, 2018, from pneumonia. The founder of Bad Boy Records, later expressed regret for not marrying her, calling her his “soulmate.” He told Essence in 2019, “That day turned my world upside down… She actually said to me, ‘Puffy, take care of my babies.’”
In 2024, Diddy was indicted for racketeering and sex trafficking by federal prosecutors in New York. His trial began in mid-2025.
