Three days after the death of Dolly Parton, her loved ones were seen gathering at her burial site, the Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Nashville.

Her nephew and head of security Bryan Seaver was pictured in a camel-colored wide-brimmed cowboy hat and a white shirt, paired with pants and an embroidered blazer.

Dolly was kmowm for her love of color and sparkle

In honor of the singer, who was known for her love of rhinestones and bold style, guests steered away from black, with one guest in a wine-colored dress color while one was seen in a black dress covered in sequins. Men wore hats and cowboy boots.

Page Six published images of the guests’ arrival, with Bryan greeting everyone as well as local police who were patrolling the area.

News of the private service for close friends and family was reported in the days following her passing; it is unclear if Dolly was interred at the event.

Dolly died on August 25, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer. In a statement shared by her team, it was confirmed that Dolly has requested a small, private service for immediate family.

Fans are encouraged to pay tribute with donations to be made to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library at www.imaginationlibrary.com.

Dolly will be laid to rest beside her husband of 58 years, Carl Dean, who died in March 2025 at age 82. Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum is also the final resting place for Dolly’s in-law, as well as Dolly’s friend, the late Tammy Wynette.

Her name was inscribed on the bronze frontispiece of the tomb, which depicts a mountain scene from the couple’s native Tennessee, within 24 hours after she passed.

Her death led to an outpouring of tributes from the world’s biggest names including Sir Paul McCartney, President Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Sir Elton John.

Landmarks around the US were lit up pink in her honour, including the Empire State Building in New York and the Pacific Park Ferris Wheel in Los Angeles, while President Donald Trump announced all flags around the country would be lowered to half-mast.

Dolly was admitted to Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center on August 21.

Her passing came a year after the “Jolene” singer was forced to cancel her Las Vegas residency due to undisclosed health issue. Earlier in August she missed an event at her Tennessee theme park, Dollywood, due to dizziness and dehydration.

Dolly is survived by her extended family, including her nieces and nephews.

Dolly and Carl never welcomed children, due in part to a battle with endometriosis. She underwent a partial hysterectomy in 1985 to alleviate the immense pain caused by her condition.

“I couldn’t have children, I tried to for years,” she once shared. “I’ve been pregnant in my life. When I was a girl and fooling around, I was scared to death I’d get pregnant, and then when I got married and wanted to have children, I couldn’t have any. But I don’t miss it. I did for awhile, but I realize that I am everybody’s mother.

“I’ve raised five of my younger brothers and sisters, and now their kids call me Aunt Grannie. I’m like the grandma and the aunt.”
