At the 2026 Rose Ball, Princess Charlene of Monaco once again proved that her approach to eveningwear is less about theatrics and more about control. 

Her custom gown by Elie Saab was quietly striking, a study in proportion, texture, and movement rather than overt theme dressing. Cut in a cool silver-grey, the dress followed a one-shoulder line that felt both modern and deliberate. 

The asymmetry created a clean architectural frame through the neckline and shoulder. From there, a sheer cape extended from one side, falling to the floor in a continuous line that softened the structure without interrupting it. 

The embellishment was concentrated through the bodice, where fine crystals and sequins were applied with restraint. Rather than overwhelming the look, they added texture and subtle light.

The waist gathered slightly to one side, creating a natural point of shape before the skirt dropped into a long, fluid column that elongated her silhouette.

Diamond earrings, arranged in a soft floral motif, were one of the few decorative notes. For Princess Charlene, the beauty remained consistent with her established codes. A sculpted faux bob with soft waves framed the face, referencing classic glamour without leaning into nostalgia. 

The makeup, featuring muted pinks and luminous skin, kept the focus on clarity rather than contrast. What defines Charlene’s style at this stage is not experimentation, but refinement.

For the disco‑themed Bal de la Rose in March 2024, she embraced the evening’s playful energy in a head‑to‑toe sequin jumpsuit by Elie Saab, its shimmering surface and wide‑leg silhouette nodding to the ‘70s vibe of the night.

She complemented this bold, expressive look with dramatic drop earrings and debuted a slightly longer bob hairstyle, showing that her fashion choices could be as confident and contemporary as the gala’s vibrant musical spirit.

At the 2025 Rose Ball, Charlene pivoted to classic red‑carpet sophistication that perfectly matched that year’s Sunset theme. She stunned in an asymmetrical Dolce & Gabbana gown featuring delicate Chantilly lace and rich green‑gold hues, an elegant piece that balanced modern couture drama with timeless refinement.
