Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are celebrating five years of marriage. The CEO and founder of Banda Property commemorated their fifth wedding anniversary on Thursday, July 17, with a photo on Instagram of himself and Beatrice, 36, cozied up next to each other on a beach in Scotland. A barefoot Edo was pictured with his arm around his wife, who was makeup-free.
Alongside the photo, the Princess’ husband wrote: “Happy 5th Anniversary to my incredible partner, the most beautiful and amazing wife. I cherish every moment we’ve spent together and am deeply grateful for our journey.”
He continued, “Here’s to countless more years filled with laughter and tons of love! 🩷📸 Photo from Scotland 🏴.”
Beatrice and Edo have been married since 2020. The pair, who got engaged in Italy in September of 2019, were originally set to marry on May 29, 2020 at the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace, but their wedding was canceled amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, the couple secretly tied the knot on July 17, 2020. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip attended the private wedding ceremony held at The Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor.
Beatrice and Edo, who has a son named Christopher Woolf from a previous relationship, have since welcomed two kids together. The couple’s first daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi was born in September of 2021. Their family grew earlier this year with the arrival of their second daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi. Following Athena’s birth, Edo wrote on Instagram: “We welcomed Baby Athena into our lives last week. She is tiny and absolutely perfect. We are all (including Wolfie and Sienna) already completely besotted with her. Our hearts are overflowing with love for you, baby Athena. 💕”
Beatrice opened up about her pregnancy and daughter Athena’s premature birth in an personal essay for Vogue that was published in March. “Athena arrived healthy, a few weeks before her due date. She was so tiny it took more than a few weeks for the tears of relief to dry and for life with our healthy baby to feel real. Her feet were so small – almost the same size as the paws on one of my older daughter’s soft bunnies,” the Princess penned. Beatrice noted in her essay that her younger daughter was “now doing really well.”
