In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Eiza was asked about the unexpected gesture. “You made headlines for liking a photo of Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner,” the actress read during a segment of the interview, to which Eiza responded warmly.
“I did like it. They look so cute together, they look so in love, and I’m obsessed with them,” she stated. Despite their past, Eiza emphasized that she and Timothée remain supportive of each other. “I love [Timothée]. I think he’s the most talented, sweetest boy and I’m just so proud to see him thriving and doing good in his career,” she said. “We’re just good friends.”
The moment drew attention given the history between the actors. Back in 2020, shortly after Timothée’s breakup with Lily-Rose Depp, he and Eiza were spotted on a romantic getaway in Cabo San Lucas, sparking rumors of a brief but steamy relationship.
