Elizabeth Banks, born Feb. 10, 1974, has built an impressive career as an actress, director, and producer. She first caught audiences’ attention with standout roles in early projects like Wet Hot American Summer, Catch Me If You Can, and Seabiscuit, which quickly established her as a rising star in Hollywood.
She soon became a staple in comedies, starring in films such as Zack and Miri Make a Porno, W., and Our Idiot Brother. At the same time, Elizabeth proved her versatility by taking on more dramatic roles, including her fan-favorite performance as Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games series, as well as appearances in Love & Mercy and the horror hit Brightburn.
Beyond acting, Elizabeth has made her mark behind the camera. She’s directed and produced major projects, including the Pitch Perfect films and the 2019 reboot of Charlie’s Angels, further solidifying her reputation as one of Hollywood’s most multifaceted talents.
