Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus can soon start a band if she’s able to get better at playing the guitar. The actress and singer have been going strong since they went public with their relationship in April, and she recently revealed she has picked up his favorite instrument.
In an interview with our sister brand HELLO!, the actress was asked what was making her happy at the moment. “My friends, family, Billy Ray, my dogs, my parrot, and my new tortoise, James. I’ve been in England all summer for the first time ever and have loved every moment,” she replied.
Another part of the fun? Billy is teaching her how to play the guitar. “Right now I’m appalling, but I’m hoping to improve!” she admitted.
Earlier this month, Elizabeth shared a couple of photos posing with her man’s guitar, calling him “patient.” “My patient boyfriend is attempting to teach me the guitar,” she wrote.
The 64-year-old “Achy Breaky Heart” singer has been playing guitar for decades. He started playing when he was 19.

Just last week, Hurley celebrated Billy Ray’s 64th birthday with a sweet Instagram post calling him her “Squirrel Man.” They went on to spend time in Scotland for a PDA filled vacation.

He also had a rift with his daughter, Miley Cyrus, which has made a complete 360. Miley even gifted him a song she wrote with Fleetwood Mac. “For my birthday, Miley gave me the gift of music and wrote me a song called Secrets and got my favorite musicians, Fleetwood Mac, to play on it! I love you, Mile,” the happy dad wrote on Instagram.
