Elizabeth Hurley opened up about her beauty secrets while modeling red-hot bikini bottoms on social media. The model took to Instagram to share two photographs of her posing in her bedroom dressed in a white cropped sweater and a pair of red bikini bottoms adorned with gold hardware detailing on the sides.
The 60-year-old’s luscious brunette locks were styled into soft waves while her makeup oozed glam, courtesy of a bronze eye, a pinch of blush, and a glossy lip.
In the caption, Elizabeth shared an insight into her beauty routine and the surprising wellness ritual she “swears” by. “I don’t personally guzzle weird green juices or take a load of supplements – but I’ve drunk two mugs of warm water first thing every morning for as long as I remember, and I swear by it (and it’s free),” she penned.
Elizabeth’s workout routine
Elizabeth’s sculpted physique is courtesy of her active lifestyle. “I love working in my garden and am never happier than when wielding a strimmer. I walk my dogs a lot too,” she previously told MailOnline, adding: “I don’t do any set exercise but can’t sit still for long.” She includes a half-hour walk in her daily routine and complements it with core-strengthening workouts like Pilates and yoga to sculpt her muscles. “I think it’s important to stay sort of firm,” she told E! News previously. “I don’t go to the gym, but I don’t lie around on the sofa.”
The model previously revealed to The Sydney Morning Herald that she typically avoids processed foods. “I don’t subscribe to fad diets,” she shared with the publication. “My tastes are pretty simple – I don’t drink weird green juices or anything like that. I’ve always watched what I eat, since forever. I’ve never wanted to eat processed food. Right back to my teens, I’ve always looked at the labels on food.”
She continued: “I cut all that out over a year ago. I just eat what I would say is very normal, which could be roast chicken, mashed potatoes, and a couple of different vegetables. It’s definitely not anything new-fangled or weird. I don’t go to the gym, but I’m very active. I don’t really sit still very much. But I do a lot of gardening – that’s quite bendy-downy, picking stuff up!”
Turning 60
Prior to celebrating her milestone birthday, Elizabeth spoke exclusively to us at the Estée Lauder 2024 Breast Cancer Campaign event in New York City. “I feel really good about every birthday I have,” she shared. Elizabeth noted that it is in part because she has “lost so many people to various cancers or other diseases or even accidents.”
“Every birthday I have feels special,” she maintained, and added: “So I kind of encourage them and bring them on.”
“I think keep the faith,” she said, adding: “You know, I’ve always been reasonably self confident, but like everybody, I have moments where you waver and you lose confidence in yourself.”
Still, she maintained: “We don’t achieve anything at those times. You have to know and have some self belief. And if we’re good people, know that our beliefs are right.”
