Elsa Pataky is sharing some of her secrets when it comes to having a successful and loving relationship. The actress opened up about her marriage to Chris Hemsworth, with whom she shares three children and has been married to for 15 years.
In an interview with our sister website HOLA! Spain, Pataky shared some of the most useful and realistic tips she’s learned after being involved in a long-term partnership. When asked about the secret to her marriage, Pataky provided a sincere and unvarnished response.
“Marriage is constant work, and from crisis you can learn a lot,” she said in Spanish.
“When you’ve been together so many years, you have to bend time to continue to grow together, for your paths to continue to cross and to continue to enjoy each other despite time changing you and them. You have to try to share new experiences and do new things together. It’s important to continue to renew yourself.”
Pataky revealed that while there are differences between her and Hemsworth, the two still enjoy spending time with each other and have tons of fun together. “There are things that change, but others that unite you to the person you love, like laughing together and enjoying the little moments. You should continue to be curious about one another and to admire each other. That’s very important.”
