Emma Bunton beamed as she arrived at the 21st birthday party of Victoria Beckham’s son Cruz. The Spice Girl walked arm-in-arm along the street with her own teenage son, Beau, at the glamorous event held in London’s Mayfair at the weekend.
Emma, 50, stunned in a lacy black, long-sleeved midi-dress with fringed detailing around the neckline, along with a pair of strappy black heels, in a photo shared to her Instagram. Meanwhile, her lookalike son, 18, could be seen in the sweet picture looking dapper in a double-breasted dark suit and a buttoned-up polka dot shirt.
The former Spice Girl also reposted a picture from inside the party of her posing with Victoria, 51, who was similarly chic in a silky slip dress. The latter, who shared the sweet snap to Instagram, wrote: “Love you @emmaleebunton.”
Emma – who shares her son with husband Jade Jones, whom she married in 2021 – was joined by other stars, including Ramsay sisters Holly and Tilly, at the star-studded celebration. That included the majority of the Beckham family – including Cruz’s dad David, brother Romeo and sister Harper – who have tried to move on in recent weeks from the Brooklyn feud.
Last year, Emma celebrated Beau turning 18 with a series of adorable selfies to her 1.6 million followers on Instagram. She captioned the post: “I couldn’t be prouder, the soul of our family. If you know beau, you know! So lucky to have you @beaubuntonjones.”
Spice Girls ‘feud’ with All Saints
Their mother-son outing at Cruz’s party comes after Emma finally debunked rumours of a feud between the Spice Girls and All Saints, after the bands went head-to-head on the music scene at the same time. The alleged fallout was cleared up when the Heart Radio presenter interviewed Nicole and Natalie Appleton on her show on Monday.
Emma said: “Now I need to start off by saying we are mates.” Nicola responded: “We are mates!” The host then continued: “We are bessie mates! And I think, only because someone just the other day said, ‘Oh, I thought you and All Saints back in the 90s, you didn’t get on.’ We are mates! We went to school together!”
Natalie added: “We have always been mates! I mean, we’ve known you since we were eleven. And do you know what? I’ve always said you’ve always been exactly the same.” The Spice Girls were together from 1994 to 1998, while All Saints formed in 1993 and disbanded in 2001, before reuniting from 2001 to 2006 and again between 2008 and 2022.
Emma’s presence at Cruz’s milestone birthday comes shortly after her own big 50th birthday celebrations. She was joined by Victoria, as well as Mel C and Geri Halliwell, at a bash in the Cotswolds, which also marked the fashion designer’s first public appearance after her estranged eldest son’s explosive statement.
